slide show and films

Today on Brian class we check out some slide show options in Iphoto. B4 i have use to for that a power point, for example. I thing that two programs are very similar :) by usefull options. Iphoto have that hmm plus, U can make "play list" quicker like in power point. In second program U just need to opened every single one presentation from "desktop". In iPhoto on right hand U have clearly list of that. I opinion: Iphoto is more usesfull for that people who work with slide shows quite a lot. Power point is good enough to :)

That just only apple and microsoft, they always want to be better than second one :)

So i made in Iphoto my own "film" maybe "history" by use photos what we got from database. I choice a simply view. I thing it is better like crazy mess :)

Magazine project :)

"How a girl feels about moving aboard... "

In this reportage I have explain how I felt when I decide and finally moved to Scotland.

I wrote some about "new thinks" for me, Polish and Scots have difference taste and culture. Thats mean new people got very easy way to get confused in first half year :)

So this it is!!

On right side U can see a background of first page. I made it in photo filter program ( it is very simply, but can make much more) When back ground for first page and for rest of the txts was ready, I opened a "word" and use this stuff by option : paste picture -> use picture under txt.

After rest time n brake ;p

So... In last post I crossed my fingers for my health going better but... eh so... my wish didn't come true ;p I had a 3 weeks absence to get more rest after hiospital treatment ;/ and next 2 weeks of easter holidays ;p. Now I'm little bit behind with programme, but Ill try to rush and catch the school pulse ;p On monday after easter we made some more of pop art stuff :) I'm going to quickly explain what's happend. I've chosen 3 favourite pictures from magazines :) next I copied it using ink. Then when I got my positive n negative, black and white pictures I had to give them some crazy colors :D I've chosen drawing ink :) On the photos U can see results of my hard work :D Few minutes ago I've printed a project magazine for Brian :) I have a lot of absenses on his lessons, but I looked around on other students' blogs, and caught out how our work needs to look like :) My subject was a "what was I feeling when..." I moved right here to Scotland :D So I wrote hmm 5 pages about that hehe. This week we are starting project about Stirling Castle :D, so we'll go there and make some photos and short films. In same time we are creating non fictions project. 2 groups need to record few seconds of their own "news" programme. On Thursday my group dissapeared from my eyes ( it came up that they went to a quiet place to record that programme). So I stayed in class and made a logo for our "TV" :) So I found good soundtrack for the opening, actualy I, hehe pls don't be mad, have 'borrowed' it from one of polish TV shows :) but I think it will fit with our programme very well . So that's what happened last week :D Unfortunately I had to take a day off today too... :( because student finanse office have a huge mess in their student records, so they just lost one of my documents. Funnily that was the one important for my bursary. ;/ So I went to Falkirk to explain whole situation and take necessary papers but anyway that didn't help me too much because they had my old timetable in their database hahahaha so I caught absence for every friday, friday which isn't my school day anymore, shame... But anyway I'm happy at my return to school, it is very boring to stay at home for such a long time!! ;/

Newspaper Project

Our next task is to create a "school newspaper". Each one of us chose or
been given a subject to write an article about. We'll put them all
together, and after a bit of editing we'll get our first newspaper done.

The subject I chose is "Trip to Scotland". It describes situations and
feelings of a person who decided to move to and live in the other
country. What good or not exactly can happen to you when switching
countries.

My report is almost finished as unfortunate health problems and stay in
Stirling Infirmary made whole thing late. But I'm back in business and
do not hesitate using my keyboard to finish it all out in next few days
:D

POP ART

Pop Art is short for Popular art.
Artistic trend emerged after World War Two.

Pop Arts' form has been influenced by consumption nature of West
civilization, particularly its advertising mechanisms.

Its style took patterns from both surrealism and naturalism.

Whole pop art style began in paintings but finished on spatial
arrangements.

Pop Art developed differently in UK than in USA. It all begun in United
Kingdom and a decade later USA got really interested in it.


I have done my pop art self portrait :) ( I'll upload a photo when I get good quality photography of that )
I was used contrast colors : pink, purple, red, blue, yellow
+ I applied some tiny pictures ( I draw it in black n white) what explain my character and what I like, just thinks similar to me :)

Animation - final note

We got to the finish point of our animation chapter.

What did I like the most?
So I enjoyed character creation and modelling as far as I remember I
found fun in playing about with plasticine.

What wasn't so good about it?
I didn't like working in a large group; it made our work chaotic. Not
all of us knew what they should do now and what they are assigned to. It
can be explained by thing it's our first year on that type of course.

Generally I think our work had more positive sides anyway. I've learned
how animated film is created step by step. What techniques are in use,
how to combine sound with video or how to create background.

This knowledge is undoubtfully a base ground for our future projects.
